The location of this place is great, being close to the places we wanted to visit, including the unexpected joy of exploring Milton Lodge just a short walk away.

It was impeccably clean and newly remodelled place, well furnished rooms. We ate at a very nice restaurant for both dinner and breakfast.

The staff was absolutely rude.

Great-sized room with a lovely view of the cathedral. Bedrooms were great sized, staff was knowledgeable and more than adequate. Marvellous and incredible location, next to Wells Cathedral.

The hotel was perfectly clean and well-appointed. The personnel was caring and exceptionally attentive. The room had a queen-sized bed and tea or coffee, for example, I had the best night's sleep. The location was lovely, with 

The location is magnificent, 1 mile from shady gardens. Plus, this hotel is not too far from center of the city. The rooms are well-appointed and generally offer armchairs and a lounge area.

The breakfasts here are simply amazing, especially the tomatoes on toast. The location is stunning and perfect for group gatherings. The gardens are lovely and provide a nice setting. Plus, it's super convenient 

I loved this hotel, it was exceptionally clean and exceptional. The staff were attentive and more than adequate and helped with a car park.

The hotel staff is absolutely courteous and efficient. The location is very central, next to the Cathedral, Bishops Palace, shops, many restaurants, and the center of beautiful Wells. Also, the West Front is near here. 

Great location! The hotel is right by the cathedral and the view is awesome. It's in a very cozy spot, right in the heart of everything. 🌟

Homey place, amicable and more than adequate staff. Brilliant food, amazing view, excellent service. Lovely gardens on the territory. Brilliant position in Wells. A nice restaurant and an outdoor bar available.

Fantastic, stunning location right by Cathedral & Bishop's Palace, and local shops. Besides, easy access to Wells and Mendip Museum. Armchairs and a lounge in the room and the comfy bed. Superb view over cathedral.  

Room actually quite attractive, great location in Wells very close to the cathedral. Nice staff.

Old box (not very attractive on the outside) - inside not much more than standard. Rooms almost all to the rear with view (narrow) to the outbuildings. Baths partly very small. We had three rooms: one of them had a broken shower, a stuck hardtop and was noisy next to the kitchen ventilation. After complaint on the 2nd day, we got a very nice other room with a four-poster bed without any problems.

The staff here are really friendly, efficient, and super helpful. The place is exceptionally clean and has an amazing old charm. The building and rooms are lovely, plus the wifi is good. I also 

Excellent location: 2 minutes walk to the cathedral. Large parking lot in the yard. Good restaurant.
